এখনি যেও না চলে
একটু দাঁড়াও হে রমনী,
ভালোবেসে হাতে দেব তুলে
এক গুচ্ছ কামিনী।

এখনি যেও না ফেলে
নামবে হৃদয়ে যামিনী,
মাত্র সবে তো এলে
প্রিয়া অমার সজনী।

তুমি পাশে আছো বলে
মুখরিত লাগে এই ধরণী,
সুগন্ধ বাগিচায় ফুলে
সুবাস বিলায় চামেলী।

তুমি পাশে আছো বলে
আলোকিত এই রজনী,
জোছনা বিলায় চাঁদ
ভুবন ভোলানো চাঁদনি।

তুমি পাশে আছো বলে
ফুটে আছে কত ফুল!
প্রাণবন্ত আছে মালা
সুবাস বিলায় বকুল।

এখনি যেও না চলে..
খোপায় গুঁজে দেব ফুল,
তোমায় সাজিয়ে দেব ফুলে
কানেতে পরাবো ফুলের দুল।
